About the venue
The Repulse Bay stands on the site of the original Repulse Bay Hotel, the 1920s address that defined Hong Kong's Southside before the war. The building is gone, but the setting, the striped awnings of The Verandah and the Bamboo Bar all continue the same line - and the property is owned and operated by The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, the company behind The Peninsula.
For couples, the practical draw is that it is fifteen minutes from Central yet reads as a coastal resort. Ceremonies are held outdoors with the South China Sea behind you, and the venue runs its own wedding planning team alongside three restaurants that have been serving this stretch of coastline for decades.
